Shavers.

A path.
The account of a journey to rediscover an ancient profession, the men's barbershop, through the testimonies of the last old-fashioned barbershops still in business.

A photographic and humanistic report that winds through many cities in italian countryside around  Veneto, Tuscany and Friuli in search of the soul that moves men behind the razor.
I spoke to some of them, now at the end of their careers, to understand at what point in their life the barber shop ceased to be a working activity to become a museum dedicated to their personal history.
With others just starting out, however, to get to know the dream (or madness) that drives and supports a young entrepreneur who begins to walk the path of life, poised on a steel blade.

A sharp black and white that leaves its mark.
